Ulla Riedle is Co-Team Leader of the Youth&ICT4D department in SOS Children´s Villages International, focusing on the strategic implementation of innovative and digital solutions at programme level to improve lives of children and young people without adequate parental care. She is a strong believer of participatory approaches, multi-stakeholder partnerships and finding new ways of solving challenges.
During the last ten years Ulla has created, driven and scaled a diverse range of social ventures in and outside of SOS Chidren’s Villages: from a local child care facility, through the global partnership initiative YouthCan! (that empowers young people in their transition to decent work) to two global youth change-maker initiatives (supporting marginalized young people to speak up for their needs and start their own social venture).
Ulla has an extended background in communication & public relations and holds a master in business as well as international cooperation. She lives with her family in Innsbruck. The best way for her to recharge batteries is to spend time outside and enjoy nature.
