Danijel is an academic and doer with a passion for social impact. He is PhD and assistant professor at the Department for Social policy at the Faculty of Law, the University of Zagreb. His scientific interests include the third sector, social policy, social entrepreneurship, social innovations.
He has published more than 30 scientific articles and participated in more than 35 international and domestic conferences. He participated in domestic and international projects (FP7, ESF, COST…).
He also works as an expert in initiatives with aim of social change (like in Centre for development of non-profit organizations or Cooperative for ethical financing). He works on civil society projects in fields of social policy, social inclusion of vulnerable groups and sustainable transformations and as an independent policy consultant for national and international government bodies, agencies, and civil society organizations.
