Masha has fifteen years of experience in philanthropy and capacity building in democratization and development. She is a program manager at the Open Society Initiative for Europe where she leads grant support to development of policy research and think tanks in the Western Balkans. She also works on capacity building in policy research through individual fellowships and internships. Her expertise ranges from policy research and communications to public participation in decision-making to local strategic development.
Masha previously worked with the Open Society’s Local Government and Public Service Reform Initiative and the Think Tank Fund. Masha holds, and a PhD in political science from Central European University in Budapest, an MA in sociology from Central European University in Warsaw, and a BA in sociology from the University of Belgrade.
