Michael Vollmann

Michael’s passion is social entrepreneurship. As a co-entrepreneur and most recently member of the executive board of Ashoka Germany, he started developing the company from a charitable startup to the largest social entrepreneurship movement in this country.

Michael is passionate about social innovation. He actively supports pioneers through consulting, networking and the mediation of cooperations. Most recently, he expanded in his role as Program Director, an international accelerator to internationalize successful social entrepreneurs. He was responsible for numerous partnerships with major companies and foundations.

Michael loves the many faces of his neighborhood, the Görlitzer Park in Berlin-Kreuzberg. With his company nebenan.de, he wants to offer all people living here another opportunity to overcome the anonymity of the big city. He motivates them to get in touch with each other and enables them to actively work for their immediate neighborhood.
