Guided by the principle of “What serves the aim most?”, Anikó Cserjes has built a diverse career encompassing roles as a facilitator, fundraiser, and funder.
She founded two impactful organizations: Olmexica in Mexico, where she collaborated with peers on intergenerational urban ecological projects, providing nature-related experiences for inner-city families. In Hungary, she established Mirrors, an initiative designed to bring urban citizens closer to nature, and launched the ‘Mother Village Circles’ project to help Hungarian and Ukrainian mothers connect.
From an early age, Anikó has been passionate about social issues and has remained committed to this cause. Over time, she recognized the need for long-term, systemic solutions, prompting her to channel valuable resources into new areas and broaden the horizon for a more equitable and sustainable future.
Currently, she serves as the Country Representative for Ashoka Hungary, where she strengthens the Fellow community and seeks to implement best practices for the ecosystem.
