Julia Obereder

Julia Obereder (born in Schärding, Upper Austria) is an experienced social worker, educator, and nonprofit manager. ​

With Master’s degrees in Social Work and Nonprofit Management, she has over a decade of experience in areas such as intercultural competence, child and youth welfare, asylum, and international development cooperation. ​

Julia has worked with organizations like Caritas, the Government of Upper Austria, and ORA International Austria, where she coordinated programs in Ghana, Uganda, Ukraine, Yemen, and Syria. ​

She currently serves as the Executive Director of BRAVEAURORA, an award-winning NGO she founded in 2019, supporting children and families in Ghana. Her professional expertise is complemented by her role as a mother, as well as her enthusiasm for music, travel, and sports.
