Abraham Gossaye

***Alumnus of the Ashoka Visionary Program (East Africa) 2020/2021***

Abraham is the country manager for Austrian Red Cross in Ethiopia. He has worked almost 10 years in the humanitarian sector providing strategic, programmatic direction and oversight to development and emergency programs.

Abraham is passionate about solving humanitarian needs in an innovative and sustainable way,  especially on water and sanitation related issues. He likes exploring new avenues of public and private sector partnerships and innovative financing. He holds amaster’s degree in sustainable water management from Kristianstad University in Sweden and has a background in water engineering.
