Anna Greil is an award-winning social entrepreneur in the field of circular economy. As the founder and CEO of uptraded, she is driving innovation in the secondhand fashion industry, helping individuals swap clothing for free to reduce waste. However, uptraded is about more than just clothes swapping – it’s about prototyping a more efficient flow of resources and creating an economy of love and abundance.

With her work and background in business, Anna aims to transform the current economic system by challenging consumerism and promoting mindful consumption. Anna is based in Innsbruck and Vienna, where she mentors startups and advocates for a circular economy as a Fashion Revolution Ambassador, empowering others to foster sustainable change.

“Being surrounded by such inspiring changemakers made it clear - this is my community. Over the past months, I’ve been deeply immersed in learning, listening, and reflecting. Every activity and conversation, including those with Ashoka Fellows, has left me more inspired and energized than the last. For anyone interested in building impactful solutions and connecting with like-minded visionaries, I can’t recommend this program enough. Here’s to driving systems change and shaping a better future together!"
