Gabriele Hampson

Gabi Hampson is the director of the creative community enterprise W*ORT which focuses on developing children’s strength outside of the statutory school setting. After working as a market researcher Gabi discovered social and community enterprise rather than corporate business as her main professional focus and passion over 20 years ago. ​

Her studies and work led her to Innsbruck (A), Strasbourg (F) and Chester (UK) before returning back to her home town of Lustenau, Western Austria, in 2013. She is a networker, always aiming to bring people and ideas together and believes that language and creativity are superpowers which want to be discovered and developed. Gabi she loves to develop, implement and share ideas and is hands on when it comes to putting them into practice. Language and creativity are also important in her spare time as she likes to write, work with paper and letter press printing machines. ​

She also co-runs a charitable association, organising events and fundraisers to collect money for people who directly work with refugees at the European borders.
