Maria Raczynska holds a Master degree in Sociology from the Paris Descartes University. She is one of the founders of “The Noon” project, a program that uses theatre and games to develop social skills of teenagers in Russian orphanages. At the moment the organization is scaling up to offer its services to other kings of teenagers in difficult social situations as well.
“The Noon” works through partnerships with socially responsible businesses, and its partner companies’ employees volunteer to run the program. The program is at the moment used in more than 80 institutions across Russia. At the moment Maria works on a new project, “Kruzhok Association”, which is an eco-system organization that aims to build bridges between different communities and institutions in formal and non-formal education in science and technology.
