Captain Tomasz Pruszynski is a Master Mariner and the head of Captain’s Nemo Foundation, which he founded in 2019. Committed to educating communities about domestic violence, he actively supports victims at the Shelter for Domestic Violence Victims. In 2024, he expanded his mission by establishing a social enterprise to further promote awareness and assistance. As a leader, Tomasz is dedicated to finding ways to scale up mechanisms that support domestic violence victims, inspiring those around him to join in the cause.
In addition to his philanthropic work, he writes for a local newspaper and is a fan of the arts, founding prizes in a local art contest to encourage creativity in his community. When he’s not steering initiatives for the foundation, you can find him strumming his guitar, playing the drums, or lost in a good book, as literature is another of his great passions. A believer in the power of creativity to inspire and heal, Tomasz looks forward to connecting with fellow NGO leaders and business innovators to drive impactful change togheter.
