Vera is an architect (1999), with a master degree in Integrated Urban Development (2001) and one in project management (2008). She holds a PhD (2009) in planning for urban regeneration and housing policies. From 2013, she is the vice-president of De-a Arhitectura association which focuses on built environment education for children, youth and adults.
Since 2000, she teaches at the University of Architecture and Urbanism and since 2001, Vera has initiated and has been also working in ATU – Urban Transition Association – an action – research organization where she has worked as trainer, consultant, and project coordinator dealing with good governance and participatory processes.
