Yumi Tsoy

Yumi is the Head of Operations at Bethnal Green Ventures (BGV), Europe’s leading early-stage tech for good VC. Her goal is to maximise the value of BGV’s team and portfolio companies. Day-to-day, this involves running fund operations and supporting founders in building impactful and inclusive businesses. Yumi also oversees the investment selection process for BGV’s Tech for Good programmes, runs workshops and publishes resources to help founders and investors leverage and scale positive impact.​

Before entering the world of impact investing, Yumi completed a postgraduate degree in entrepreneurship and management at Imperial College London. There, she saw the potential of emerging technologies to solve important social and environmental problems, and soon after, joined Futurelearn and The Bakery to facilitate collaboration between startups and the corporate sector.
