Empowering Systems Change: Insights from Module 2 of the Visionary Program

Published On: 02.12.2024

We Are Here Because We Care

The Visionary Program’s Module 2 was all about driving Systems Change, and it kicked off with a powerful mindset: “We Are Here Because We Care.” Over the weekend, our Visionaries engaged in deep conversations, collaborative work, and hands-on sessions, exploring how to analyze systemic problems and design strategies for impactful change.

Throughout the weekend, participants worked together to map systems, identify challenges, and refine their approaches. By the end of the two days, they walked away with concrete, actionable strategies for creating lasting systemic change in their respective fields.

Guest Speakers Who Inspired Change

The weekend featured two inspiring Ashoka Fellows who shared their groundbreaking work:

  • Dorica Dan, an Ashoka Fellow from Romania, shared her impactful work in the rare diseases sector. She demonstrated how addressing root causes in healthcare can lead to real, systemic change.

  • Jimmy Westerheim, a Norwegian Ashoka Fellow and founder of The Human Aspect, inspired us with his approach to mental health. His powerful storytelling and reframing of struggle as a universal human experience sparked meaningful conversations about resilience and human connection.

Exploring Vienna’s Changemaking Spirit

To wrap up the weekend, Eugene Quinn guided us on a fascinating tour of Vienna’s 9th and 1st districts, revealing hidden stories that even locals didn’t know. Vienna, once again, showed us why it’s a city full of changemakers.

Gratitude and Future Impact

A heartfelt thank you to Claudia Garuti and Alessandra Bravi for hosting us at In&Out-Consulting and to all the Fellows and Visionaries for sharing their stories and insights. Your passion, openness, and energy make the Visionary Program a space of true transformation.
